SOFTWARE BUILT TO FLY
Solutions for the future of aviation
VISION
Everyone is building an aircraft, we're building a pilot
Aviation is entering a new world of electric flight, regional air mobility, point-to-point cargo, and reduced crew operations.
Autonomy in these new domains will be built on layers of improved safety.
VTI is building a common foundation, starting with perception-based technology, to support these and other airborne domains.

MARKET SEGMENTS
Powerful technology for any aviation context
FIXED WING
Commercial air travel, cargo, and general aviation operate under well-established guidelines. Yet a recent FAA Aviation Safety Call to Action underlines a need for improved safety margin amidst a spike in incidents. From detection of runway incursions, to visual landing guidance, VTI is demonstrating use-cases that improve safety today.

(e)VTOL
The new frontier of electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft will build on helicopter operations today. From time-saving flights to riskier medical or search and rescue actions, VTI is developing technology that improves helicopter pilot awareness and increases the safety envelope. The same technology will be critical to autonomous eVTOL certification.
UAV/UAS
GPS-denied operation of autonomous aircraft is an essential autonomy tool. A 2022 incident impacted Dallas DFW area operations for almost two days. Perception-based solutions offer a backup when GPS fails.
