What You’ll Do

​Primary Responsibilities

Assist in or own the design, implementation, and maintenance of the FlightStack robotic aviation system.

  • Design and implementation of online robotics technologies for aviation use cases, including those involving sensing, perception, localization, motion planning, and natural language processing

  • Design and implementation of offline data processing pipelines for system performance summarization​​​​​​​

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related engineering field

  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience

  • Experience with ROS or ROS2

  • Experience with scalable cloud orchestration pipelines like Airflow, Prefect, Kubernetes, etc.

  • Experience with cloud-based databases and dashboards

  • Expert knowledge of Python and/or C++

  • Self-motivated, team-player attitude

Compensation packages are comprised of salary and incentive stock options. Salaries may range from $80,000 to $175,000 per year depending on role and individuals experience. VTI additionally offers 401K with a 4% match, an unlimited PTO policy, and health care reimbursement up to the IRS allowable limit through QSEHRA.
