Earlier this month, members of the VTI Aerospace team came together in Colorado for some focused collaboration, strategy, and flight planning. The purpose? To align in advance of our upcoming presence at one of the world’s largest aviation gatherings, EAA AirVenture 2025 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

With team members spread across the country, opportunities to connect face-to-face are important and impactful. Colorado served as the perfect backdrop for high-altitude thinking and low-altitude coordination as we prepare to showcase FlightShepherd, our AI co-pilot system, and FlightStack, the sensor-fusion backbone behind it.

Why Oshkosh Matters for Emerging Aviation Tech

EAA AirVenture draws over 600,000 aviation professionals, pilots, innovators, and enthusiasts each year. It’s where legacy aircraft share the runway with next-generation tech, and where companies like VTI Aerospace bridge that gap.

At Oshkosh, we’ll be introducing aviation stakeholders to FlightShepherd, our iPad-based, voice-activated AI that provides real-time decision support, checklist prompting, ATC readback confirmation, and situational awareness—all without requiring hardware installation. Paired with FlightStack, our edge-processing AI core, we’re reshaping what a co-pilot can be in general aviation, defense, and commercial applications.

Building Momentum Through Collaboration

Our recent Colorado meetup wasn’t just a logistical warm-up. It allowed for:

  • Refinement of our EAA engagement strategy, from booth flow to product walkthroughs

  • Hands-on flight testing in varying terrain and airspace to further validate context-aware voice prompts

  • Content capture for upcoming promotional material, demo footage, and field documentation

It was also a defining moment for the company - a chance to align not just on product roadmap, but on mission.

What We’re Bringing to Oshkosh

If you’ll be attending EAA AirVenture 2025, here’s what to look for at our booth (Booth 2143 Aspen Avionics Exhibit Hangar B):

  • Live FlightShepherd demos in simulated cockpit environments

  • Insights into how FlightStack fuses real-time sensor data for audible pilot cues

  • A first look at our roadmap for deeper avionics integration

  • Candid conversations with the engineers and aviators building these tools

Whether you’re a general aviation pilot, defense tech decision-maker, or an OEM exploring cockpit enhancements, we’d love to connect.

Follow Along and Join the Mission

We believe that better tools make better pilots, not by replacing them, but by reducing distraction, increasing clarity, and giving them what they need to make faster, safer decisions.

If you can’t make it to Oshkosh, follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram for live updates, behind-the-scenes content, and a closer look at how FlightShepherd and FlightStack are shaping the next generation of cockpit intelligence.
